SCHOLASTIC SCHOLARSHIPS
The Washington Club Lions supports two $8,000.00 scholarships
Peter J. Meyer Scholarship from St. Francis Borgia High School
T. W. "Buck" Sincox Scholarship from Washington High School
The $1,000.00 installments are paid directly to the students college tuition account for eight semesters. The Club believes in supporting our scholarship recipients throughtout their four years of college.
The only stipulations are that they maintain a 2.0 GPA and complete at least 12 graded credit hours per semester to qualify for the next installment. (Summer school will not be considered as a semester, since it is usually not possible to take 12 credit hours during a summer session.)
If you should happen to finish your undergraduate degree in less than eight semesters and choose to continue on for a graduate degree, then the Club will conltinue to pay the college until the eight semesters have been completed.
You must finish your eight semesters within six years of your initial undergraduate enrollment date. Likewise, if you finish your undergraduate degree early and do NOT continue on to graduate school, the scholarship payments will end at your final undergrate semester.
